Q: Aren’t all streets in the city limits maintained by the City?
A: No.

The City only maintains about 30 percent of the streets within the City limits; the remaining 70% are maintained by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT). Streets maintained by the City of Columbia are colored in blue on this map; other streets are maintained by SCDOT,  (803) 786-0128.
